Why I'm Doing This

I retired from a happy and reasonably successful business career in 2018. The duration of that career was generously dotted with assistance, guidance and support received from very kind people. They shared a couple of characteristics. They allowed me to set my own path, including making my own mistakes. And they seemed to always have just the right question or morsel of advice to enable me to see my situation differently.

So now I find myself in the third third of my life. I measure success and happiness differently. I want to be to others what those people were to me. Quiet observers, good listeners and compassionate coaches.

I'll never promise to make you successful. But I will promise to respect you. I ask the same from you. After all, we're better together.
